I painted this view from my Nanna’s porch on another trip back to Ballarat. I love the way the light spilled across the red porch. I’ve always loved the old Victorian details on the roof and green posts as well...I used to swing around them all the time when I was a kid. That chair was a favourite spot too, just sitting there, looking out, as time slowly passed by.
